"La Radoune"
Derived from “Au-Ras-des-Dunes,” "Radoune" refers to a secluded area nestled between two mountains in the Gaspé region, specifically between Gaspé and Rivière-au-Renard.
This fertile location, where wild mushrooms thrive in nutrient-rich forest soil, directly inspired the creation of this distinctive gin and its unique botanical signature.
Ingredients
Chanterelle
Golden and fragrant, this wild mushroom offers soft apricot tones and nutty warmth that echo the forest’s gentle light.
Chanterelle in Tube
Smoky and deep, with earthy notes that conjure the damp woods and whispering leaves of late-autumn undergrowth.
Honey Mushroom
Rich and mellow, with a gentle sweetness that evokes mossy paths and the cool shade of forest floors.
Crisped Pepper
A boreal spice gathered locally, known for its bright, resinous spark that lingers like a peppered breeze woven with morning dew.
Juniper Berries
Plucked from coastal soil and dried in sea salt, they bring resinous clarity and a saline breeze from the Gaspé shore.

Radoune Gin offers a rich and complex tasting experience
Nose
Very distinctive, the scent perfumes the nose with the aroma of organic forest soil. The fragrance evokes a dynamic blend of boreal conifers, dense undergrowth, and rich, dusty, humid earth. Unfailingly earthy, its controlled depth is tinged with a fatty, bitterness-free vegetality reminiscent of umami and dried mushrooms. Over time, the dehydrated aspects of the mushrooms open up to a creamy nuance, offering a marshmallow and vanilla paste finish.
Palate
Gently, the palate is wrapped in a creamy texture that gradually unveils delicate notes of dusty juniper berries, subtly accented by warm, spicy hints of cinnamon and clove. The flavor then shifts to a rich, complex blend of dried mushrooms, where a deep umami coating lingers persistently. A damp medley of lichen, humus, bark, and moist tree moss intertwines seamlessly with disturbed, earthy soil, all supported by a subtle, spicy framework in the background.
