Overview
Barrel-Aged Radoune is a refined take on the original gin, aged three years in oak barrels that once held rum, whisky, or tequila. This slow maturation adds depth and woody complexity while preserving Radoune’s wild, forest-born character.
Each handpicked barrel lends subtle notes as the gin absorbs lingering flavors without losing clarity. The result is a smooth, amber spirit with mellow oak, balanced botanicals, and boreal freshness—a bold harmony meant for slow sipping and thoughtful moments.
"La Radoune"
Derived from “Au-Ras-des-Dunes,” "Radoune" refers to a secluded area nestled between two mountains in the Gaspé region, specifically between Gaspé and Rivière-au-Renard.
This fertile location, where wild mushrooms thrive in nutrient-rich forest soil, directly inspired the creation of this distinctive gin and its unique botanical signature.
Ingredients
Chanterelle
Golden and fragrant, this wild mushroom offers soft apricot tones and nutty warmth that echo the forest’s gentle light.
Trumpet Chanterelle
Smoky and deep, with earthy notes that conjure the damp woods and whispering leaves of late-autumn undergrowth.
Barrel Aging
Aged 3 years in 15-year-old American oak barrels, each batch reflects its cask’s unique influence.
Candy Cap
A sweet forest gem, known for its enchanting maple aroma that lingers like sunlit syrup woven through the morning mist.
Juniper Berries
Plucked from coastal soil and dried in sea salt, they bring resinous clarity and a saline breeze from the Gaspé shore.
Other Botanicals
Their names kept secret, yet their presence is felt in every sip—an herbal chorus that frames the forest’s voice.
A structured and elegant gin that retains its original identity while gaining warmth and complexity

Nose
Distinct and multifaceted, the fragrance reveals layers of aromatic depth. It begins with warm oak shavings, their woody essence softened by a caramelized touch of dulce de leche and the dry spice of cinnamon stick. A shift occurs as crisp juniper emerges, blending smoothly with lemon eucalyptus and a whisper of lemongrass. As the composition settles, the fragrance grounds itself in a floral earthiness, rich yet airy, offering a balanced, lingering base.

Palate
The oily texture creates a perfect symbiosis between barrel-aged complexity and the gin’s original character. The half-caramelized, half-lemon profile of juniper berry blends seamlessly with a spicy heart of cinnamon and vanilla. A mist of woody, earthy, and camphorous notes suggests the soft florality of patchouli, while the dry, rugged identity of oak lingers in the background. Carefully measured aging reveals the classic Radoune in a new, delicate light—earthy and refined—where the mushroom now takes center stage.
